William Tracy is an Assistant Professor of Strategy at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Lally School of Management and Technology. He is also the Associate Director of CSSS-Beijing, which is jointly administered by the Santa Fe Institute and the Institute of Theoretical Physics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Will completed his PhD in Management at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He was also a visiting PhD Student at Carnegie Mellon’s Department of Social and Decision Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Science's Key Laboratory of Management, Decision and Information Systems (MADIS). Before entering academia, Will was a Junior Professional Associate at The World Bank. He also held private sector positions in both the US and the People’s Republic of China.
